We had a great time!
Most arrived on Thursday, July 8th.
We had a fun dinner...roasted hot dogs with all
the fixin's. Smore's topped off the evening around the campfire.
Friday we spent the day at the Veyo pool.
Everyone had a great time...swimming, talking, eating and
hunting crawdads...
Oh....I forgot, sleeping...
THE crawdad hunter himself.....That night we had a great pot luck feast with sloppy joes (ala cousin Kathy) and again enjoyed smores some more....
Saturday was a day of more fun...
the guys went shooting while the girls beaded and
cousin Denise organized
fun games around camp. We also spent some time
'down by the river'...
That evening with the help of
Aunt Susie and Uncle Mike we all created our own 'hobo packs'
and enjoyed another great meal.
Sunday we attended services at the historic Pine Valley Chapel...
then we had to say goodbye...till next time!
